Tuesday, July 28, 2009 This is a Japanese traditional garment worn by women, men and children. Kimonos are T-shaped, with attached collars and long, wide sleeves. They are wrapped around the body, always with the left side over the right and tied at the back. Kimonos are generally worn with traditional footwear and split-toe socks. Kimonos are most often worn by women on special occasions. Some older women and men wear the kimono daily. Men wear the kimono most often at weddings, tea ceremonies or other special occasions. [12:00 PM] We're big, we're bad, and we're...adorable? |
